Weihnachtsferien in Brasilien- Christmas break in Brasil

Über die Weihnachtszeit hat es mich wieder in die Ferne verschlagen. Ich hab erneut meine lieben Freunde in Volta Redonde besucht. 

Over Christmas break the wanderlust took me. I was able to visit my dear friends in Volta Redonde, Brazil . 

Sie haben mich zum Nationalpark Itatiaia gebracht- dem höchsten Fleck im Staat von Rio. 

They took me to the national park Itatiaia- the highest point in the state of Rio. 

Leider war es an dem Tag etwas neblig, dass wir an dem höchsten Punkt, zu dem wir raufgeklettert sind, nicht wirklich viel sehen konnten.

Too bad it was foggy so we couldn't really see much from the top of the hill we climbed up. 

Sonntag ist Markt und Kirchtag. Sehr spontan, wie die Brasilianer eben sind, habe ich auch einen Song im Gottesdienst beigetragen. 

Sunday is church and market day. Very spontaneous, as Brasilians like to be, I  was asked to sing a song and did so.
